in response to a comment that says, and i quote, "racist". here is why i hate february.

not only does it contain single awareness day, but it also devotes an entire month to the blacks. being from georgia, there is no contest that i love blacks way more than these utah folk we see out here. BUT why is it black history month? not african american history month? i thought we were supposed to be all sophisticated and anti-derogatory statements, and here we are having a whole month for blacks.

what about asians? and the british for crying out loud! they did a lot of stuff. why cant we just love eachother all year round instead of devoting a day to make sure you get some loving and a whole month to historical facts. stupidity.

I heard it's actually correct to say "blacks" now... As opposed to African Americans.

...I think the British WROTE a lot of the history we study, which is why we don't devote a specific month to it.

And I know I spent a lot of time studying Asian history in school, too. But not Africa. It was the forgotten.

Obviously, the Britts wrote history and the Asians are too busy slowly taking over the world to lobby for their own month. We enslaved blacks by the way. In case you were wondering I think that entitles them to at least the shortest month of the year. Bigot!
